THE FATHERING ANCHOR PROGRAM
About The Fathering Anchor Program (TFAP)
Over the past 17 years, Neritha Klue had the privilege of working with many fathers during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Since 2009, and particularly over the last decade, during supervised contact, she witnessed both the complexities of family separation and the deep desire many fathers hold to remain connected to their children.
Through more than 15,000 hours of direct supervision, observation, and engagement, she gained unique insight into the realities of fatherhood in the context of conflict, separation, and disrupted relationships. A recurring theme is that fathers are often not unwilling or uninterested—they are underprepared, unsupported, and frequently lack a healthy model of fathering. Many navigated their role without clear guidance, relying on instinct or fragmented advice.
The Fathering Anchor Program (TFAP) was developed by her to address this gap.
This structured, reflective, and supportive 8-session counselling programme
provides fathers with the tools, insight, and practical skills to:
-
Understand their role as a father more deeply
-
Develop positive, nurturing parenting behaviours
-
Strengthen the father-child relationship
-
Build consistency, stability, and emotional availability
TFAP is not about criticism or judgment. It is a space for reflection, growth, and intentional fathering.
The program recognises that fatherhood is a skill that can be learned, developed, and strengthened over time. With guidance and support, fathers can cultivate more meaningful, stable, and nurturing relationships with their children.
The program is designed to be both practical and reflective, helping fathers better understand themselves, their children, and the vital role they play in shaping their children’s lives.
